Resource Planner - Production Enhancement

Job description

  • Communicate with the onshore Engineers and offshore Service Leaders for planning and optimization of the personnel within the PSL.
  • Coordinate Offshore personnel for their schedule, planning and training as required. Handle and carry out crew changes in collaboration with the customer.
  • Keep track of/check employees' competency, courses, and certificates. Booking helicopters, flights, hotels, and courses for employees.
  • Registration, updating, and maintenance of personnel data.
  • Regularly updating the personnel planning tool, crew change sheets, and other documents as required by the Company / PSL.
  • Responsible for optimal allocation of the man-year and ensuring maximum utilization of available offshore days and minimize Overtime for the Company.
  • Ensure regular dialogue between the company and offshore employees, including information to and from offshore employees.
  • Procure contractors when needed through dialogue with consulting agencies.
  • Checking timesheets for offshore personnel monthly for accuracy.
  • Responsible for equipment scheduling in SAP/S4 for the operation in collaboration with the Onshore Engineer as required by the Company and PSL.
  • Assist operations team with equipment and material loadouts with support from the Engineers.
  • Willingness to learn new skills, take additional roles/tasks (multi-skilling) and solution oriented.
  • Develop and maintain a strong collaborative spirit in the team.
  • Possess / gain knowledge of HMS standards, work methods and processes required to conduct the work efficiently.

 

Qualifications

  • Technical education, preferably within mechanical or petroleum.
  • Relevant offshore experience is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Must have excellent computer data skills including simple excel spreadsheets, common word documents, and simple system searches.
  • Very good knowledge of framework - Oil Service Agreement
  • Must be able to work with short deadlines and possess good organizational skills. Strong collaborative skills. Support to other departments when needed.
  • Systematic and take initiative to find good solutions.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Norwegian and English skills.

 

Personal qualities

The position requires that you execute the Company's HSE procedures, as well as internal processes. You set high standards towards safety and have the capacity to work with different nationalities and cultures.

The candidate must have good organizational skills and be able to handle a challenging working environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with offshore and onshore personnel as well as customer relations will be important factors.  Willingness and flexibility to learn new skills will be highly important to the role as cross-training to understand/be able to support other job functions should be expected.
