Junior Technical and Onsite Consultant Geological & Geophysical (G&G) Data Management

Job description:

 

Selected candidates are required to work closely with teams internally at Landmark and with our customers to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems. This is role is for a technical consultant and onsite consultants who would focus and help grow the Landmark geoscience and geology application and onsite support using the Landmark DecisionSpace. Experience with data manager, data loading and data cleanup is an advantage.

  • Develop workflow using the Landmark DecisionSpace Geoscience (DSG) and help introduce customers to the workflows.
  • Understand customer need and tailor the need to how the Landmark DecisionSpace Geoscience h(DSG) helps resolve the issue.
  • Perform data management services using Landmark and 3rd party applications at customer site
  • Perform quality checks on data before loading
  • Validation of G&G data in customer databases
  • Manipulation and standardization of G&G data types
  • Act as focal point within G&G data management community, both internal and at customer site
  • Contribute to creation and update of new and existing data management workflows and best practice documents

Qualifications:

Minimum of bachelor’s Engineering or Science degree

Masters Degree is as add advantage

3+ years of experience in related field (preferred)

Knowledgeable with Landmark DecisonSpace Geoscience (DSG) applications

Knowledgeable with the other 3rd party geoscience application

Knowledgeable with subsurface interpretation work

Knowledgeable with other geoscience and geological analysis such as Assisted Lithology, seismic processing, and etc.

Knowledgeable with Data loading, data migration and data clean up

Very good communication ability with customer

Work under pressure and heavy workload. This role requires communication wit R&D and HDS in Houston

Experienced Solution Architect Manager for Landmark digital solutions Project

 

Job description:


You will be required to work closely with teams internally and Landmark HQ to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems. This is role is for a solutions architect/technical adviser with a deep understand of oil and gas operation to focus and help grow the Landmark digitalization business, most especially in the drilling and subsurface domain. The focus will be on the Landmark digital solutions and transformation needed with some of our clients. The role and focus of the person on the role will involve deep communication with customers, Landmark Global HQ, working with Halliburton, working with customers and working with developers and R&D.

 

  • Develop and execute customer technical plans for roles in drilling and subsurface digitalization and etc.
  • Understand customer’s business strategy and develop relevant solutions on how Landmark digitalization solutions connects to Customer and Halliburton integrated internal digital solution from other PSLs.
  • Develop relationships with customer’s technical manager, management and technical staff on how Landmark digital solution in drilling connects with internal operation in customer office
  • Manage and deliver technical solution and agreements made with customers on each drilling digitalization solutions
  • Improve penetration by directing the technical, commercial and operational capabilities of Landmark
  • Develop and maintain relationship with other PSLs in Halliburton. Hence, make sure Landmark solution in digitalization fits with digitalization from other PSL, Logic, MaxROP, Edge, iDoS and other solutions from HDS.

 

Qualifications and Key Skills:


Minimum of bachelor’s Engineering or Science degree.

10+ years of experience in related field.

 

  • Development experience in more than one language and one platform a must. Java and Javascript (Node.JS, Angular, React) experience preferred.
  • Full-stack software development experience (database, middleware, presentation and security) required.
  • Experience in leading the deployment of enterprise class software to large organizations is required
  • Experience developing and supporting platform based software is required
  • Experience with cloud - AWS, Azure, GCP is required. Certifications on cloud architectures a big plus.
  • Verified experience with modern security frameworks and protocols. Experience with one or more OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML
  • Exposure to Oil and Gas domain software a plus. Direct experience in data management and Oil and Gas software development experience a plus.
  • Experience with RESTful web services, Microservices, Docker Containers
  • Direct experience with AGILE methodology required.
  • Knowledge of data science required.

This is role is for an advisor, an experience consultant who understand subsurface and drilling data in the oil and gas operation. You must be vast and well exposed to the Landmark OpenWorks, DSIS, DSIF to other platform used by Landmark. The focus will be on the Landmark digital solutions and transformation needed with some of our clients. The role and focus of the person on the role will involve deep communication with customers, Landmark Global HQ, working with Halliburton, working with customers and working with developers and R&D.
