Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

  • Operator Assistant II: $18.00 - $21.84/hr.
    • Potential Annual Earnings: $123,000
  • Service Operator I: $20.50 - $31.33/hr. 
    • Potential Annual Earnings: $132,000
  • Service Operator II: $22.00 - $32.83 
    • Potential Annual Earnings: $179,000
      • Average annual earnings are an estimation dependent on hours worked per week, overtime hours worked, product service line, location, and position. An offer of employment with Halliburton does not guarantee employment for any length of time.  Actual pay will be discussed and finalized at the time of the offer.
  • Position is eligible for a $800 monthly stipend based out of Williston, ND. 
  • $45/day Per Diem or paid living accommodations during scheduled working time. 
  • Employees are responsible for their own travel to and from Williston, ND for their work rotation as well as their own transportation to and from the Halliburton facility for each workday.
  • 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*

Job Duties and Qualifications

 Job Duties:

  • Under strict supervision, assists senior operators and/or performs frac- specific job roles (e.g., proppant, chemicals, blenders, QA/QC, etc... ).
  • Learns basic operations to include but not limited to: performing pre/post job equipment inspections, performing and completing preventative maintenance procedures and operating support equipment (e.g., proppant handling, fluid tanks, suction manifolding, discharge manifold equipment, etc.).
  • Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level.
  • Assists in assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service.
  • Assists in the cleanup, repair, and preparation for the next job.
  • Exhibits safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
  • Participates in quality and continuous improvement processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a Class A CDL with the ability to obtain hazmat, doubles, triples endorsements and must be able to drive a manual transmission.  
  • Crane experience and certification preferred. 
  • Reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.
  • Skills are acquired through on-the-job training and 3-6 months experience as an Operator Asst I.

 

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Service Operator I and Service Operator II.
