Job Duties and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
The CFS (Credit) team member will be involved in analyzing financial data of the companies, assessing their creditworthiness, and making recommendations regarding approval of credit limit based on established credit policies, including reviewing credit reports, income verification, and asset evaluation to mitigate risk.
- Credit Analysis: Thoroughly review of applications, including credit reports, financial statements, income verification documents, and other relevant information to assess the applicant's creditworthiness.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all credit decisions are made within the framework of established credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate and updated credit files, ensuring data consistency and compliance with documentation standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like collections to facilitate smooth processing and address any credit concerns.
- Decision Making: Recommend approval or denial based on credit analysis, providing clear justifications for decisions.
- Ensure that the credit reviews are prepared accurately, to avoid any downstream impact.
- Timely closure of requests received.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, ratios and cash flow analysis.
- The individual will be expected to constantly be on the lookout for ways to enhance and add value to the process.
- Manage service delivery and meet customer requirements as per agreed SLAs.
- Should ensure customer satisfaction and process excellence.
- Systems skills and Knowledge
- Use of SAP in general
- Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft office Excel Spreadsheet, Word and PowerPoint

Basic Qualifications: Graduate (preferably B.Com / MBA)
Total Years of Experience: 3 – 6 Years of relevant experience
Desired/Preferred Expertise: Expertise in Credit Review process and provide recommendations as per company standard. Hands on Experience on S4 HANA / SAP / Sales Force will be an added advantage.
