Ciudad del Carmen, CAM - Senior Cementing Field Engineer (Offshore)

As a Senior Cementing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing cementing operations based on customer requirements and operational conditions. You will develop job designs, perform engineering calculations and simulations, coordinate laboratory testing, conduct risk assessments, and provide technical support at the well site.You will collaborate with customers, drilling and production engineers, and field teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive cementing solutions. You will also analyze job performance, lead continuous improvement initiatives, support technical investigations, contribute to Performance Optimization Plans (POP), and assist with resource, material, and equipment planning. The role also involves supporting tender preparation, forecasting chemical and casing equipment requirements, improving the utilization of materials, equipment, and personnel, and sharing technical knowledge through case histories, technical presentations, and industry papers. As an experienced member of the Cementing Team, you will mentor junior team members and support their technical development while ensuring alignment with the Halliburton Management System.This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a Engineering discipline, a minimum of 7 years of cementing experience as a Field Cementing Engineer, completion of the required cementing competencies, and the ability to work independently in field and operational environments.
