Job Duties and Qualifications

 
As the head of the marketing department for Landmark, the senior Manager/Director of Marketing plays a critical role in setting the marketing direction of a company. As a pioneer in Petrotechnical cloud software, Landmark is looking for an E&P thought leader to understand market and customer preferences, develop and execution of marketing plans, product branding initiatives, digital marketing and events.  
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Key stakeholder in ensuring superior customer experience by understanding and optimizing customer journey
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans
  • Orchestrate Landmark Innovation Forum and Expo and presence other Industry events such as  IMAGE, EAGE, SPE etc.
  • Direct and oversee the marketing budget including expansion of the marketing team
  • Conduct competitive research and analyze market trends
  • Embed learning and customer experiences within DecisionSpace® cloud applications
  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the marketing team
  • Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Evaluate and enhance product positioning and market presence
  • Collaborate with other executives to define the company's vision and strategy
  • Foster deeper relationship with partners to show case the ecosystem and value to customers  
  • Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a CMO or similar role leading marketing for large to mid size software companies
  • Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts especially in SaaS applications
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data and communicating data findings
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A deep understanding of the market and marketing trends
  • Energy industry exposure and experience is a plus

 

Educational Requirements

  • Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications or Liberal Arts and/or at least 10 years of experience in Marketing, of which at least five should be in the industry. Engineering or science background with MBA is ideal
  • Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles give (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available from the Senior Manager up to the Director Level
