Full-Stack Developer - Agile Asset Management

Job Duties

Landmark, a Halliburton company, builds the software and data platforms that help the global energy industry make better decisions. Our products span subsurface interpretation, well construction planning, reservoir simulation, production optimization, and digital operations. These are tools used daily by engineers and scientists at the world’s largest energy companies and run as cloud-native SaaS platforms and as enterprise on-premises solutions. 

We are hiring full-stack developers to build Agile Asset Management, the platform engineers and scientists at major operators use to plan field developments and make investment decisions. These are end-to-end roles: React and TypeScript in the browser, TypeScript services behind it, and the domain-rich problems of the energy industry in between. You will work in a modern microservices environment with REST, GraphQL and message-based communication, in a team that takes engineering quality seriously and treats AI-assisted development as a normal, everyday way of working. Your work will sit directly with engineers, which is the best part of the job.

 
Building the product

• Build features end to end — user interface, services and data — and own them through implementation, testing and production support.
• Work in the frontend with React and TypeScript, and in the backend with Node and TypeScript services, consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Turn complex engineering and subsurface workflows into interfaces people can actually work in.

Architecture and integration

• Build within a microservices architecture, designing clean APIs and integrations between services and the platform's data foundation.
• Make pragmatic decisions about service boundaries, data access and state, and help shape the platform's evolving technical standards.
• Work with Postgres, event streaming and cloud infrastructure alongside the data and DevOps teams.

Quality and AI-assisted engineering

• Hold a high bar for code quality — automated testing, code review and maintainable design — so the platform stays fast and safe to change.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot and similar) as a normal part of your daily workflow, to work faster without lowering that bar.
• Contribute to a strong, collaborative engineering culture: share knowledge, review peers' work constructively, and help raise the team's overall standard.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related STEM discipline.
• Strong TypeScript, with solid production experience on both sides of the stack.
• Experience building modern web applications with React, and services with Node.
• Comfortable with REST API design, relational databases and working in a microservices environment.
• Proficient with AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot or similar) in daily work.

Preferred

• Experience with GraphQL, Kafka, Kubernetes and Azure.
• An eye for interface design, and experience working to a design system.
• Exposure to the oil and gas or wider energy domain, or to other data-heavy scientific or engineering software.
• Experience working in a monorepo with code review, continuous integration and incremental delivery.
