Senior Wireline Field Engineer

Job Duties

Under general supervision, knowledge applies Halliburton's Rig-less Cased Hole Wireline technologies to independently provide a comprehensive set of basic and complex services and tool operation to customers at the well site. Apply engineering, mechanical and geological principles to articulate more complex data interpretations and downhole mechanical constructs to clients from proprietary software and coaches’ clients through more routine drilling and completion scenarios independently. Continues to learn how to interpret data outcomes with more complexity through mentorship from wireline field leadership. Integrates understanding of the wireline business, operational procedures and to a lesser degree the collaboration of other service lines into guidance provided to customers. Provides guidance to junior wireline field professionals on delivering less complex services and tool operations to customers. Completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or other technical discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Minimum of 3 year of experience in Rig-less Cased Hole Wireline field operations required (i.e. but not limited to Production, Corrosion, Leak Detections loggings, Perforations with multiple systems, Plug and Perf operations, Pressure control Equipment’s) .Under general supervision, applies advanced knowledge of Halliburton’s Rig-less Cased Hole Wireline technologies to independently deliver a comprehensive range of basic and complex services and tool operations at the wellsite. Utilizes engineering, mechanical, and geological principles to provide advanced data interpretation and explain downhole mechanical conditions to clients using proprietary software. Independently guides clients through routine drilling and completion scenarios while continuing to develop expertise in interpreting increasingly complex data through mentorship from Wireline Field Leadership.Demonstrates a solid understanding of wireline business operations, operational procedures, and, to a lesser extent, the integration of other service lines when providing guidance and recommendations to customers. Supports and mentors junior wireline field professionals in the delivery of less complex services and tool operations.A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or another technical discipline is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Rig-less Cased Hole Wireline field operations is required, including but not limited to:* Production Logging* All Corrosion Logging* Leak Detection Logging* Perforating operations using multiple systems* Plug and Perf operations* Pressure Control Equipment (PCE) operations* Other related wireline intervention services
