About the Role

The Service Coordinator is responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment, materials, and third-party resources to support safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery within a designated operational area.

This role serves as a critical link between customers, field operations, supply chain, and support functions to ensure operational readiness, resource availability, and successful execution of drilling services. The position requires strong operational knowledge, planning capabilities, and customer focus to support daily operations while maintaining service quality, safety, and financial performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day movement and utilization of personnel, equipment, materials, and third-party resources to support operational requirements.

• Review customer requirements, job proposals, and operational plans to ensure resources are aligned with service delivery needs.

• Assess operational readiness and resource availability for planned and call-out activities within the assigned area of responsibility.

• Coordinate job scheduling, resource allocation, and operational logistics to support safe and efficient service execution.

• Manage the engagement and utilization of third-party services and equipment to support customer requirements.

• Provide operational solutions and recommendations to support service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

• Coordinate equipment and material requirements in accordance with customer specifications and job requirements.

• Communicate operational plans, job requirements, and scheduling updates to field personnel, operations leadership, and support teams.

• Create and manage sales orders in accordance with contracts, pricing agreements, and operational requirements.

• Monitor ongoing operations and proactively address service delivery issues, scheduling conflicts, and operational challenges.

• Work closely with field operations, maintenance, supply chain, and support functions to improve operational performance and resource utilization.

• Support service quality initiatives, employee development activities, safety programs, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Maintain compliance with company policies, operational standards, and HSE requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield operations, drilling services, field operations coordination, or related operational roles.

• Strong understanding of drilling operations, service delivery processes, and resource planning.

• Experience coordinating personnel, equipment, materials, and operational logistics.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment while managing multiple priorities.

 

Preferred

• Experience with Sperry Drilling Services operations, MWD/LWD, RSS, directional drilling, or drilling optimization technologies.

• Experience working with resource planning, scheduling, or operational coordination systems.

• Familiarity with SAP, maintenance systems, inventory management, or operational reporting tools.

• Experience supporting customer-facing operations and service delivery activities.

• Knowledge of HSE programs, quality systems, and continuous improvement practices.
