The Travel Data Analyst supports the Company's global travel program through data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, travel technology administration, and process improvement initiatives. This role serves as a subject matter expert for travel data, reporting platforms, online booking tools, corporate card analytics, and travel-related technologies. The position partners with global stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, enhance reporting capabilities, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement across the travel program.
Job Duties
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, and recurring reports for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Performs data validation, auditing, and reconciliation of travel program data from multiple sources to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of reporting.
- Administers and supports global online booking tools and travel technology platforms, with a focus on data integrity, system effectiveness, and user adoption.
- Serves as the primary contact for travel portal enhancements, system updates, testing, issue resolution, and traveler support, including troubleshooting booking, profile, and other travel technology issues.
- Analyzes travel, expense, and corporate card data to identify trends, opportunities, compliance risks, and potential cost-saving initiatives.
- Supports the design, maintenance, and optimization of databases, data models, data flows, and reporting structures used for travel and profile management.
- Administers and supports travel-related technologies, system integrations, and vendor platforms utilized by the Travel Department.
- Supports regional travel security, compliance, and duty-of-care reporting requirements.
- Supports special projects involving data analysis, business process improvement, automation, system implementation, and reporting enhancements.
- The role contributes directly to the quality, reliability, and continuous improvement of the company’s global travel program, reporting capabilities, and technology solutions.
Qualifications
- Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in architecture, engineering, business administration, data analytics, management information systems, finance, or a related discipline, or through 5 years of experience in project management, business intelligence, reporting and analytics, travel operations, facility construction, or remodeling.
- 3 years of experience in data analytics or corporate travel is strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
- Experience working with large datasets, data validation, reporting automation, and business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
